I’m probably late on this (as I am with almost all good artist) but this soon is nice. A friend recommend that I give their album a listen to while I’m on this 12 hour flight to Japan. I’m gonna need something to listen to. I will definately be checking out this album.
This is really what Hip-Hop has been missing. Well, I can’t say that its missing, its just not getting any shine. We have a million Gucci Manes’(BURR), a million wanna-be-Jay-Z-in-96 type rappers, and then you got all those “battle” rappers (who always talk about beefin’ with someone, but aint got no beef…), and all these are considered what hip-hop is. I’ll admit, Gucci Mane’s lyrics can be captivating at times, but its just not what I would consider quality hip-hop. This (P.O.S.) is quality hip-hop, something that I wish would catch on to the masses, but you and I know that most likely wont happen. And Gucci Mane will reign supreme this summer in a hood near you. *sigh*
